I bought 3 different Lottie dolls for 3 different granddaughters who are turning 5 within a month of each other. The doll is great, loved the style and concept. I also bought different outfits to vary the play. This is the problem, while the doll and outfits are cute and stylish, my granddaughter (who turned 5 first) couldn't change the clothes without assistance from an adult. Some of the clothes were so tight, even I had a hard time changing them. After awhile, I saw the doll and her outfits abandoned. I like kids to be able to play independently of adults. This doll and her outfits doesn't do it.
If you still want one, Rainbow Resource has the best prices, better than amazon..

i have given Autumn Leaves 4 instead of 5 stars as the colour of her hair is not quite as illustrated. I ordered Autumn Leaves and Muddy Puddles as Autumn Leaves's hair looked quite a bright light brown, like autumn leaves. But the doll that arrived has golden hair not greatly different from the blonde Muddy Puddles. So i order a third one with obviously dark brown hair to have a contrast. It is not the fault of the supplied, but the manufacturer.
